Deutschland #1 beim Twitter Happiness Ranking

Der australische Cambridge University Student Alexander Davies hat im Rahmen seines Studiums die Twitter Happiness Map erstellt. Überraschenderweise Selbstverständlich sind wir Deutschen auf Platz 1. Auf Platz zwei folgen unsere Nachbarn, die Niederlande – wen wundert es. Um so glücklicher eine Nation ist, um so dunkler wird sie auf der Twitter Happiness Map dargestellt.

What is the map?
It’s a map of the happiness of the twitter world. Using a statistical model, we try to determine which tweets are happy and sad, and then look at the amount of happy and sad tweets for a given country. This is shown on the map, with the happier countries darker and the less happy countries lighter.
